Тексты на гэльском с вопросами для лучшего освоения.
With the introduction of the new Scottish Certificate of Education examination paper for leaers of Gaelic at the Ordinary Grade, it will be necessary for students to undergo a test of language practice as part of their written paper. This book is designed to give students the opportunity to become familiar with such exercises, and. to this end contains fifty language practice tests.
All questions in these exercises should be answered in Gaelic. Where a passage has been extracted from a text this has been acknowledged in brackets below the passage. Some such passages have been adapted in an effort to conform to the standard required regarding language practice at this stage, and in an effort to make them more suitable for this purpose. This also is indicated as and where relevant. Passages not ascribed have been compiled by the author.
In schools, it is suggested that Exercises 1 - 25 be used with the third year and that Exercises 26 - 50 be used with the fourth year, in order that pupils will have had experience of language practice tests over two school sessions.
While acknowledging that opinions may vary as to what constitutes an ideal passage and set of questions in relation to any test regarding suitability in terms of standard and difficulty, it is hoped that the exercises in the book will go some way at least towards assisting students in their preparations for the Ordinary Grade (Leaers) examination.
