The collection of Karaim occasional prayers is an enlarged
variant of the collection of short prayers "Koltchalar", published
in Vilnius by Simon Firkovitsh, the senior priest of the Karaims in
1935. In addition to those printed prayers, the prayers, written
in old Karaim, that were found in the old manuscripts, created by
educated Karaim priests, philosophers and teachers are presented
in the new collection.
