По ходу сессий (их аналитический обзор см. в "Research in Philoso-

пировались вокруг трех тем: "Горожане и принятие технических ре-

шений", "Этические и биомедицинские исследования" и "Крити-

ческий обзор последних публикаций" (таких, например, как: Gen-

dron В. Technology and the Human Condition, 1977; Winner L. Tech-

nics-out-of-control as a Theme in Political Thought, 1977).

"Research in Philosophy and Technology" издавался Полом Т. Дурби-

ном вместе с Карлом Митчемом как соиздателем и редактором отде-

ла библиографии с 1975 года по 1985 год.

Формальная институциональная структура Общества по философии

техники (Society of Philosophy and Technology, SPT), требует теперь

избрания президента и вице-президента, которые по уставу должны

исполнять свои обязанности в течение двух лет. До сих пор прези-

дентами Общества были: Карл Митчем, 1980-1982; Алекс Михалос,

1983-1985; Кристина Шрадер-Фрешетт, 1985-1987; Маркс Вартов-

ски, 1987-1989; Лангдон Уиннер, 1989-1991. Существует также Ад-

министративный совет, формируемый из избранных и кооптиро-

ванных членов: секретарь, казначей, редактор-издатель "Известий"

(Общества) и еще назначаемый Советом редактор-издатель ежегод-

ной Серии.

Труды этой встречи опубликованы в специальном номере "Revista

de fdosofTa de la Universidad de Costa Rica", 24, no. 59, июнь 1986.

Более детальную информацию о состоянии философии техники в

Китае можно получить из ожидаемой в скором времени обзорной

работы Гао Дешаня и Жу Цина "Философия техники в Китае", ко-

торая будет опубликована в ближайшем номере журнала " Philosophy

and Technology". В этой работе анализируется также вопрос о напря-

жении, обычно возникающем между теоретическими и практичес-

кими (прикладными) проблемами техники.

Другие университеты, такие, как Лихайский университет, Уорчес-

терский политехнический институт, издают коллективные труды по

наиболее общим проблемам науки, философии и общества. В эти

труды включаются и философские статьи, хотя среди них до сих пор

еще не появилось материалов, столь же ценных, как упомянутые.
