Analysis Equations
Appendix I summarizes the complete performance or off-design cycle analysis
equations for mixed flow, afterburning, two-spool turbofan engine with bleed,
turbine cooling, and power extraction. For convenience in computer programming,
the required computer inputs and principal computer outputs are given. These are
followed by the cycle equations in their order of solution. Note that the iterative
solution procedure for M6, or', and rh0 follows that described in Sec. 5.2.6 and
depicted in Figs. 5.3a and 5.3b.
