Научная статья. Журнал Вестник Краунц. Изд-во КамГУ им. В. Беринга. The article includes the comparative analysis of English and German quotations with the component heart/Herz. The purpose of the investigation is to reveal their role in rendering the periphery qualities of the concept heart. Quotations are considered as language units: their criteria are singled out; the structural and genetic classifications are presented. The material analyzed includes 169 German and 204 English quotations with the component heart/Herz, the interpretation of which makes it possible to define some universal groups of the periphery qualities of the concept heart: anthropomorphous, anatomical, zoomorphous, vegetable, object and qualities of inanimate nature. Each group includes both universal and national-specific qualities of the concept under study. These groups form its interpretative field.
