4.5.1 Independent form
In all instances, the independent form is the root of the verb with the suffix -aidh or -idh
according to the Spelling Rule.

*Some verbs, because of length, sound combinations, or other reasons, usually suffer
syncope in the future tense and in the Imperfect / Conditional tense e.g.

This is simply the root of the verb preceded by the interrogative particle an (am before
verbs beginning with b, f, m or p).
