The standard defines the requirements to electrically propelled road vehicles regarding
to electrical safety, if the vehicle is connected with an exteal power source. This
applies to electric vehicles with a maximum operating voltage of every electric circuit
below 750 V direct voltage or 500 V alteating voltage.
