representation of the sexes—and even a nod towards more
inclusive treatment of diverse lifestyle choices, from sexual
preferences to religious beliefs—now grace the pages of our
magazines and our television screens.
Australian graphic design is mostly contemporary with
Western graphic design from North America and Europe.
But it tends to be more inclusive, and it doesn’t take itself
too seriously. But the main identifying feature for foreign
eyes remains a confident use of colour.
