Cavico appoints new mem-
bers to Cavico Vietnam
Management Team
Cavico Corporation’s wholly
owned subsidiary, Cavico
Vietnam, has appointed Mr. Bao
Quoc Tran as vice president of
Accounting and Finance and Mr.
Dieu Thanh Tran as vice presi-
dent in charge of the operation at
Daksin Hydro Power Project, of
which Cavico is a leading partner
of an EPC contractor, which also
includes Coma Corporation and
Song da Corporation.
Mr. Bao Quoc Tran joined
Cavico in 2000 and has served as
the Company’s Chief Accountant
since 2003. Tran holds a master’s
degree in banking and finance
and graduated from Hanoi
National Economic University
in 1998.
Tran has served as Cavico
Vietnam’s Chief Accounting
Officer from 2003 and as Cavico
Corp.’s Chief Accounting Officer
from July 2009. Tran has played
a key role in the preparation
of the Company’s consolidated
financial statements under VN
GAAP and converting them to
U.S. GAAP in compliance with
SEC regulations.
He works closely with the
Company’s Vietnam-based and
US-based auditors to ensure the
proper preparation of finan-
cial statements with adequate
disclosures for Forms 10-Q
and 10-Kand other U.S.
SEC fillings.
Mr. Dieu Thanh Tran joined
Cavico in 2000 and served
as project manager at Nui
Beo Coal Mine from 2000 to
2002, as president of Cavico
Mining from 2002 to 2007 and
as Cavico Vietnam’s Chief of
Cost and Planning from 2007 to
December 2009.
A graduate from Hanoi
University of Technology with
a degree in mechanical engineer-
ing in 1994, he serves in differ-
ent key roles due to his deep
and extensive knowledge and
experiences in mining construc-
tion, hydro power construction,
project construction and cost
and planning control.
Hydro Group appoints Derrick
Reith as international sales
director
A member of the Chartered Institute
of Marketing, Institute of Directors
and holding an MSc’ in internation-
al marketing management, Reith
will be based at the company’s
head office in Aberdeen. He will
be responsible for the formulation
of business strategy and work with
Hydro Group’s worldwide business
partners to further develop interna-
tional markets.
Reith has spent over 20 years
working within the Oil and Gas
Industry, with experience in the
engineering, manufacturing and
service sectors.
Formerly general manager at
Proserv Offshore Ltd, Reith’s
appointment comes as part of
the company’s overall vision to
strengthen the sales team and
drive the company forward into
emerging international markets.
Chloe Munro appointed to
Hydro Tasmania Board
Ms Munro was appointed as a direc-
tor from 1 March 2010 for a period
of three years by His Excellency the
Governor in Executive Council on
25 January 2010. She replaces Mr
Michael Cavell who retired from the
Board in early November 2009.
Munro is the independent non-
executive chairman of AquaSure,
the consortium building Victoria’s
desalination plant and is also a
member of the National Water
Commission. Until July 2009
she was an executive director at
Telstra, holding leadership posi-
tions in human resources, business
operations, information technology,
public policy and communications
and customer service.
Serving in the Victorian public
sector between September 1996
and February 2004, Munro held
the positions of Secretary of the
Department of Natural Resources
and Environment and of the
Department of Primary Industries.
Previously she was a Deputy
Secretary in the Department of
Treasury and Finance. She has
been a member of the board
of Food Science Australia and
a commissioner and deputy
president of the Murray-Darling
Basin Commission.
Ms Munro holds Master’s
degrees in mathematics and phi-
losophy from Cambridge University
and in business administration from
Westminster University. She was
awarded a Centenary Medal for
outstanding contribution to public
administration in 2001.
Kleinfelder hires Linda
Lannen as Chief Information
Officer
Lannen will
be responsible
for all IT infra-
structures, enter-
prise systems
and application
development
efforts. She will
also work to increase overall pro-
ductivity and improve client deliv-
ery and service with the strategic
use of technology. Lannen brings
with her more than 20 years of
experience in operations manage-
ment and team leadership, includ-
ing international operations.
Most recently, Lannen was
the vice president of information
technology at MWH Global, Inc.,
where she held a variety of technol-
ogy leadership positions including
infrastructure management, stra-
tegic technology planning, and
project and service management.
She has also held management
positions at XOR Inc. and U S
West Advanced Technologies.
Lannen received her Executive
MBA from the University of
Denver, Daniels College of
Business, which emphasizes ethics
and leadership. She also earned a
degree in Business Administration
& Finance from Regis University
and studied mathematics/actuarial
science at the University of Iowa.
Micheal Dunn named as new
Pacificorp Energy President
MidAmerican Energy Holdings
Company, the parent company of
Rocky Mountain Power, Pacific
Power, PacifiCorp Energy and
Kern River Gas Transmission
Company, announced the appoint-
ment of Micheal Dunn as president
of PacifiCorp Energy, effective
February 1. Dunn joins PacifiCorp
Energy from Kern River Gas
Transmission Company, based in
Salt Lake City, where he has served
as president since June 2007.
As president of PacifiCorp
Energy, Dunn will have responsibil-
ity for PacifiCorp’s electric genera-
tion and energy trading functions,
and coal mine operations.
Dunn earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in civil engineering
from the University of Oklahoma
in 1988. Starting in 1988, he
held several engineering positions
for a natural gas pipeline company
in the Midwest.
Dunn joined Kern River in 1990
as a supervisor/chief inspector for
the initial construction of the Kern
River pipeline system. During his
time with the company, Dunn
served in positions including district
supervisor; senior engineer; project
manager; project director for the
Kern River 2003 Expansion Project;
director of operations; director of
information technology; and vice
president of operations, informa-
tion technology and engineering.
Gilles Lefrançois, Innergex
founder, to retire
Innergex Renewable Energy (INE)
has announced the retirement of
Mr. Gilles Lefrançois, Founder
and Executive Chairman of the
Board of Directors of INE. This
followed a joint announcement by
Innergex Power Income Fund and
INE about their agreement to stra-
tegically combine the two entities.
Lefrançois officially left Innergex as
an employee on 1 February, but he
will continue to act as Chairman of
the Board of INE and member of
the Fund’s Board of Trustees until
the closing of the transaction men-
tioned above.
Furthermore, over the next 12
months, Mr. Lefrançois will con-
tinue to share his experience and
expertise with the company as a
special advisor.
