Passing through customs should
be easy since there are usually
agents available who.speak
English. You may be asked how
long you intend to stay and if
you have anything to declare.

Have your passport ready.
Be sure all documents are up-to-date.
You will be required to fill out a customs
form declaring personal items you are
bringing into the country. It is very
important to hold on to this form and
present it when leaving Russia.
It is important to note that you will not be
allowed to leave Russia with more money
than you declared on arrival.
While in Russia, it is wise to keep receipts
for everything you buy as well as ask for a
certificate from shop owners showing that
you paid for items with hard currency.
If you have connecting flights, be sure
to reconfirm in advance and arrive 2
to 3 hours early for flights and lengthy
customs processing.
Make sure your luggage is clearly marked
inside and out and always keep an eye on
it when in public places.
