Lesson 6 • AT A RESTAURANT
1. Let’s go grab a bite before the movie starts. I know a
great restaurant just around the corner.
2. I don’t usually eat desserts. I guess I never really
developed much of a sweet tooth.
3. I’m tired of always paying for Bill every time we go out for
dinner. Next time, I want to go Dutch.
4. If you don’t start cutting down, you’re going to gain
weight.
5. I couldn’t possibly eat another bite. I’m so full! I’d better
ask the waiter for a doggie bag.
6. Look at that beautiful buffet. I’ve never seen so much
food! Let’s go pig out.
7. Thank you for treating me to lunch yesterday. Let’s go
out to dinner today. It’s on me.
8. I’m going to skip the salad tonight since I just had one
during lunch.
9. If you’re still hungry, you could always order a side of
bread rolls or a salad.
10. That was such a delicious meal, but there’s so much food
we didn’t even touch. Well, I guess we can always have
leftovers tomorrow.
11. Why did you take such a huge piece of pie? You’ll never
be able to finish that. I think your eyes are bigger
than your stomach.
12. I think Joe is a chocaholic. He just ate an entire
chocolate cake and two chocolate ice cream cones!
