are no industry standards for the PDC data files. However, it is generally
understood that PDCs will have file structures similar to those of PMUs.
There are no commercially available PDCs at this time. Most existing
PDCs have been custom built by researchers or manufacturers of PMUs.
As wider implementation of PMU technology takes place, the industry will
no doubt work toward creating standards for these important components
of the overall PMU infrastructure.
