The paper is concerned with conceptual interpretation of Turukhansk cultural

landscape as a kind of Russian regional culture advanced post as well as its comprehensive

transformation into museum-recreational space, incorporating tourist foot-zone, museum park

and innovative museum-attraction. The authors bring into focus museum dramatic

composition giving a great stress to associative-symbolical rearrangement the very museum

space, its plastic forms, volumes and dimensions.

literary display, typical of so called author’s museum. By applying the principles of artistic

display projection with its philosophical-poetic and associative outlook, scenario conception

transforms museum display into performance, museum pieces and museum visitors into actors

and museum space into unique social and cultural phenomenon, synthesising the elements of

traditional museum, theatre, salon, club, library.

Based on the belief that Shagal’s painting attitude is the fantastic combination of

biblical legends, folk thinking image and child spontaneous perception the author puts
