The paper is concerned with conceptual interpretation of Turukhansk cultural
landscape as a kind of Russian regional culture advanced post as well as its comprehensive
transformation into museum-recreational space, incorporating tourist foot-zone, museum park
and innovative museum-attraction. The authors bring into focus museum dramatic

transforms museum display into performance, museum pieces and museum visitors into actors
and museum space into unique social and cultural phenomenon, synthesising the elements of
traditional museum, theatre, salon, club, library.
