Method of operation
Pushbutton I energizes mains contactor Q17
(low speed). Q17 maintains itself via its
normally open contact 13 – 14. Pushbutton II
energizes star contactor Q23 and via its
normally open contact 13–14 mains contactor
Q21. Q21 and Q23 maintain themselves via
normally open contact 13 – 14 of Q21.
Speed can be changed either after pressing
pushbutton 0 (circuit A) or directly by pressing
the appropriate pushbutton (circuit C),
depending upon the circuit. The motor can be
switched off either by pressing pushbutton 0,
or in the event of an overload, by normally
open contact 13–14 of the motor-protective
circuit-breaker or circuit-breaker.
