Peter C. Taylor, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. Peter C. Taylor is the Associate Director of the
National Concrete Pavement Technology Cente
(CP Tech Center) at Iowa State University. He
received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from the
University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1995.
His prime area of interest is in concrete durability,
including the development of test methods fo
assessing the potential durability of concrete
mixtures. Dr Taylor is the author of more than 50
publications, and is actively involved in teaching
applied materials technology to practicin
engineers.He is an active member of TRB, ASTM
and ACI with particular involvement in the
committees relating to development of test methods
for assessing potential durability of concrete, and in
the use of slag and fly ash.
Nii O. Attoh-Okine, Ph.D.
Dr. Nii O. Attoh-Okine is an Associate Professor i
the Department of Civil and Environmental
Engineering at the University of Delaware. He
received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from the
University of Kansas in 1992. His research
interests include computational intelligence an
probabilistic reasoning in civil Infrastructure
systems, MEMS application in civil Infrastructure
systems and Hilbert-Huang Transform applications.
Dr. Attoh-Okine is the author of more than 100
publications, and serves as an Associate Editor o
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, an
Cybernetics, Part C: Applications and Reviews.
