Intonation Practice is humorous, light, and interesting. It is easy for both students and teachers. It is a practical book which presents intonation from a functional/communicative aspect. The intonation is presented in a simple, graphic form which can be understood by students at all levels. The early chapters can be used by near beginners and the book progresses to intermediate level, but it can be used at any level as practice material. It can be used in the classroom, for private study, and in conjunction with a regular English course. All examples in the book are overlaid with a second colour to show the rise and fall of the intonation. All the examples are contained in three CDs, Easy (1h09m - sections 1 – 34), Moderate (1h01m - sections 35 – 63), and More Difficult (1h30m - sections 64 – 102).
