BS EN 12953-3: 2002 Shell boilers - Part 3 - Design and calculation for pressure parts

This European Standard was approved by CEN on 25 July 2001. 148p. This Part of this European Standard specifies the requirements for the design and calculation of water-tube boilers as defined in EN 12952-1.

This Part of this European Standard applies to all shell boilers as defined in EN 12953-1 which are heated by combustion of one or more fuels or by hot gases for the generation of steam and/or hot water.

This European Standard covers the following materials for pressure parts of shell boilers subjected to internal and external pressure and their integral attachments: – flat products; – tubes; and – forgings.
