An illegal action that involves
voting many times to affect the
result of an election
Ballot paper
A slip of paper, usually with
representatives' names and
photos, that registered voters
use to record their preferences
in an election or referendum
Bandwagon effect
The tendency for a candidate or
proposal that seems to be
winning to gather extra support
simply because of being ahead;
also called the 'snowball effect'
