Готовится к изданию книга доктора исторических наук, профессора
Дж. Гасанлы. Это вторая изданная в России книга из серии, посвященной
холодной войне на Среднем Востоке. Она представляет собой комплексное
исследование советской политики, способствовавшей возникновению в
этом регионе конфронтации между державами – победителями во Второй
Мировой войне. В книге рассмотрены перипетии советско-турецких
отношений в годы войны и первые послевоенные годы, их решающие
этапы и поворотные пункты. Базируясь на вновь открывшихся архивных
документах, автор воссоздает интересную и реальную историческую
панораму политической ситуации конца Второй Мировой войны. Он
описывает процесс перерастания турецкого кризиса в один из очагов
холодной войны. Профессор Дж.Гасанлы также отражает роль
руководства
Армянской и Грузинской Советских республик как послушных и активных
участников сталинских интриг на Среднем Востоке и Южном Кавказе.
На основании ранее неизвестных документов из архивов США,
России, Турции, Армении, Грузии и Азербайджана в книге показано как
«умело» и настойчиво советские лидеры превращали в противника
миролюбивую и дружественную СССР Турцию
. Это способствовало
формированию в сознании миллионов советских граждан образа Турции
как врага.
Книга предназначена для специалистов в области истории между-
народных отношений, студентов гуманитарных вузов и широкого круга
читателей, интересующихся историей нашего недавнего прошлого.
