How can we be talking about a "Revolution In Drawtexturing" when
the speeds of the drawtexturing process have been substantially
constant over the last five years? Today's "Revolution" is
certainly not in the area of speed increase, but Is the "coming of
age" of the process.
Over recent years, as it became apparent that the process speeds had reached a limit imposed by the ability of the supply yas to withstand the process stresses, Rieter-Scragg have concentrated development resources on optimising all aspects of the drawtexturing process within the existing process speed limits. The result is a new machine range, incorporating many unique features, which, together give substantial quality, efficiency and cost benefits to the user. The total effect of this innovation represents a true "Revolution in Drawtexturing" which is far more significant than many of the speed increases of earlier years.
In this paper we discuss the overall strategy behind this revolution in drawtexturing and examine in detail the many new features which support this. In summary I have outlined some of the innovative features that comprise Rieter-Scragg's "Revo'lution-in-Drawtexturing" - a total concept for drawtexturing which is reducing process costs, and improving all aspects of product quality.
For the future, RieCer-Scragg are committed to continuous Research and Development which is necessary to refine the total concept, and perhaps produce another revolution in the Drawtexturing Industry.
