Серия Handbook on the Physics and Chemistry of Rare Earths издательства Elsevier в содержит большой объем информации по химии и физике редкоземельных элементов.
The Handbook on the Physics and Chemistry of Rare Earths is a continuous series of books covering all aspects of rare earth science – chemistry, life sciences, materials science, and physics. The main emphasis of the Handbook is on rare earth elements [Sc, Y and the lanthanides (La through Lu)] but whenever relevant, information is also included on the closely related actinide elements. The individual chapters are comprehensive, broad, up-to-date critical reviews written by highly experienced invited experts. The series, which was started in 1978, attempts to combine and integrate both the fundamentals and applications of these elements and is usually published at a pace of one volume a year.
F. Szabadv?ry, The history of the discovery and separation of the rare earths
B.R. Judd, Atomic theory and optical spectroscopy
C.K. J?rgensen, Influence of rare earths on chemical understanding and classification
J.J. Rhyne, Highlights from the exotic phenomena of lanthanide magnetism
B. Bleaney, Magnetic resonance spectroscopy and hyperfine interactions
K.A. Gschneidner Jr and A.H. Daane, Physical metallurgy
S.R. Taylor and S.M. McLennan, The significance of the rare earths in geochemistry and cosmochemistry
