In article the new archeological materials connected with searches and excavation of settlements of the early Iron Age in Semirechie are characterized. Received and analyzed materials allow proving convincingly, that the economy of sakaes and ususns was based both on cattle breeding and on agriculture and they were not only nomads. It allows approving such social organization of sakaes and usuns as the state more reasonaЬie.
